Easy to use for digging post holes

This made digging holes for fence posts a simple and relatively easy process.

Good for digging in clay soil

Dig your own well! Used auger to set two 4” pt posts to use as a clothesline. Quickly was able to twist handles around & around to get a full scoop of dirt out by lifting up and dumping into my wheelbarrow. Very occasionally a golf ball sized rock would prevent further progress. I simply stuck my arm into the hole to remove. Compared to the two-piece clamshell style post hole digger in rock free dirt this works very well! In slightly rocky soil it could be a challenge. I was able to twist this auger right down to the ‘T’ handle and pulled out about 15 scoops of dirt.
